Troubleshooting Process:
– Checked monitoring camera: lens clean, no obstruction.
– Checked monitoring host: host cooling fan normal, no dust.
– Checked monitoring wiring: connections secure, no looseness.
– Measured host CPU temperature at operating temperature: found temperature too high.

Root Cause: The thermal paste on the monitoring host CPU heatsink has dried out, causing poor heat dissipation and system crash.
