– Checked wheel cylinder: cylinder dust boot damaged, water ingress.

Root Cause: The brake caliper piston dust boot was damaged, allowing moisture to enter and cause the piston to corrode and seize, keeping the brake pads in constant friction with the disc.

Required Parts: Repair or replace brake caliper assembly, replace brake pads and disc.
