Troubleshooting Process:
– Checked PTO lubricating oil: level normal, oil quality good.
– Checked PTO gears: gear meshing normal, no broken teeth.
– Checked PTO bearings: turn freely when cold.
– Measured PTO housing temperature at operating temperature: found localized overheating.

Root Cause: The PTO bearing clearance is too small, causing it to seize due to thermal expansion.
